The NASA Goddard Industry Day will build on the goals of the Maryland Defense Forum to increase Federal Government spending with companies in the state of MD:
- Businesses—both large and small—will benefit from discussions on federal contracting opportunities for both prime and subcontractors. Additionally, professionals in technology and research and development (R&D) will gain valuable insights into collaboration opportunities with NASA and its prime contractors.
- Whether you are focused on infrastructure, workforce development, information technology or community resilience the Industry Day provides a vital platform to engage, collaborate, and drive solutions for Maryland’s business ecosystem.
About NASA Goddard (from the Master Plan):
The Greenbelt Campus executes NASA’s most complex science missions. It is home to the nation’s largest organization of scientists, engineers and technologists who build spacecraft, instruments and new technology to study Earth, the sun, our solar system and the universe. The Campus, located in Greenbelt, Maryland, is convenient to NASA HQ and other allied professional organizations and universities. It consists of 1,270 acres within five distinct land areas, situated in a natural setting marked by gently rolling topography and woodlands. With 8,200 employees and 4,113,000 GSF of buildings, much of which were built in the 1960’s, the Greenbelt Campus accommodates the largest population and building inventory of all of GSFC’s six sites. For FY 2026, NASA projects 44 contracting opportunities ranging from $250K to more than $1B. IT procurements account for 23% of upcoming contracts including the recently extended $1.2B NASA Advanced Computing Services (NACS). This contract now expires June 30, 2030 and the agency plans to issue the follow-on solicitation next year. The goal of the Maryland Defense Forum is to have NASA spend as much of this amount as possible with MD Business. This event will allow participating businesses to create and foster relationships with the right people in procurement at NASA Goddard to start the process of making this happen.

Admittance to the event cannot be guaranteed if we do not receive the information by the due date.
Go to Security FormThe Visitor Center is located off ICESat Road. Once on ICESat Road, turn left into the Visitor Center prior to the security checkpoint. Vendors will be on a list and must show Government ID and gain an access badge before proceeding to Building 21 (Library).
