Mark Meudt

As vice president, Mr. Meudt oversees marketing, public relations and internal communications for General Dynamics IT.

Mr. Meudt has more than 25 years of marketing, communications and business development experience in the U.S. defense, federal, state and government contractor marketplace, in addition to the international IT services and telecommunications business.

Prior to joining General Dynamics, Mr. Meudt directed marketing and public relations for the IT, engineering and services sectors of top-tier defense, aerospace and telecommunications firms, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Alcatel. Prior, he managed business development and operations at Weber Shandwick, an international advertising and public relations agency.

Mr. Meudt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree from American University in Washington, D.C. He is also a graduate of the Darden School Business Executive Development Program in financial management at the University of Virginia. He is an award-winning freelance journalist and a published author. Mr. Meudt serves on the USO Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore board of directors and he is active with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Richmond Justice Initiative.

His radio show, Amtower Off Center, is in its tenth year on Federal News Radio and was the first radio show in the country to address issues concerning issues impacting the government contracting community.

Lou Anne Brossman

Lou Anne Brossman has over 30 years of public sector government marketing leadership experience gained while working for some of the leading companies in the market (Juniper Networks, immixGroup, EMC ). Her roots are in the manufacture world which enables her to better understand and relate to the corporate issues her federal marketing customers are facing. She is a sought out speaker on Government Marketing Best Practices and is well recognized and respected for her ability to drive Thought Leadership campaigns on relevant federal, state and local government policies and mandates. Lou Anne has served on numerous boards including immixGroup and Trezza Media and was a founding member of the Women’s Center Executive Council. Lou Anne was honored with the Heroines in Technology award presented by Women In Technology and she was the recipient of the ACT IAC Dedication to Making a Difference award.

Lou Anne started Virtual Marketing in 2008 after realizing there was a need for experienced hands-on “virtual” government marketing experts who could provide an economical way for companies to have winning government marketing programs. David Powell

David Powell is the Chief Operating Officer for the Federal Business Council, (FBC) which produces mission-specific conferences and events for the Department of Defense, U.S. Federal Agencies and the Intelligence Community. Since 1976, FBC has produced over 5,000 mission oriented training events, exercises, meetings, industry outreach programs, conferences and expositions. Each year, FBC works with thousands of government contractors and agency personnel to create meaningful face to face interactions across the United States.

David is a partner in FBC, co-founder of The CyberMaryland Conference, The National Cyber Education Map, the original CyberHive at UMBC, has co-produced of the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame since its inception, and is currently spearheading multiple initiatives geared to defining and advancing cyber throughout the country. FBC is a Federal and National Security contractor serving many outreach and individual mission roles.

David is a Board Member of the US Cavalry and Armor Association, the Maryland Cyber Commission, is an Advisory Board Member for the Regional Consortium Coordinating Council Cyber Working Group, and works within the local community as a board member for the Howard County General Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Mike O’Neill

Michael O’Neill is the current Director of the Federal Business Council and has been managing Federal Events and developing Federal Marketing Channels for more than 25 years. Mr. O’Neill develops and manages the government client relationships for FBC with over 50 major Federal Agencies. In this capacity, he oversees the business to government connections within the cyber and Information technology events that FBC hosts.
