Mr. Sajjan (Saj) M. George was appointed the Deputy Project Director (PD) for the Reserve Component Automation Systems (RCAS), under the Program Executive Office, Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) in December 2014.

Mr. George has over 20 years of active duty service in the U.S. Army covering operations, resource, cost, acquisition and program management; budget and personnel administration; and Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project management. Mr. George led and supervised personnel at Team, Branch and Directorate Level, coordinated work flows, ensured successful project closures and worked closely with senior-level leadership on long-term strategic planning. In December 2014 he retired from military service as a Lieutenant Colonel and accepted the RCAS Deputy PD position.

Mr. George's key military Assignments include Deputy Director of Sustainment Directorate at General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Deputy CIO/G6 of the Army National Guard (ARNG) Headquarters, Branch Chief of Information Technology Program Management and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Development Officer for the ARNG G6. He served one combat tour in Iraq as the Deputy of the Joint Acquisition Review Board and the Multi-National Corps Budget Execution Office.

Mr. George's military awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3rd OLC), Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.

Mr. George holds a Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communication, and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance. He also holds Federal Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Leadership Certificates, and the Army Cost Management Certificate. He is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and Level III certified in Program Management. His non-duty hours and weekends are dedicated to voluntary service with Hope Network, a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to support veterans in getting training in information technology. He loves traveling and learning about other cultures.
