COL Lisa D. Whittaker joined the United States Army Pacific Command team as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G6 in August 2019.As the Deputy G6, COL Whittaker is responsible to provide technical advice, assistance, and planning expertise in support of all Army communications and cyber related activities impacting the Pacific theater. Prior to this assignment, she commanded the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Global Field Command (DG) headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, IL with subordinate units located throughout the United States. She also commanded Orion, the Department of Defense's (DoD) largest Cyberspace Operations Center where she was responsible for the daily operations of the Secretary of Defense's top cyber defensive capability known as the Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS).
