Classified Plenary Registration and Instructions
To register for the classified sessions at Camp Smith on October 23 & 24, please register as an attendee via the registration page on this site and indicate your interest by checking the box.
Please note, selecting your interest in the classified sessions does not guarantee you a spot as seating capacity is limited. Requests will be processed in date order until capacity is reached. You will be contacted separately via your provided email with additional instructions if successfully registered or to inform you that you have been placed on the waitlist due to capacity constraints.
The instructions provided below are limited in scope to Building 700 access on Camp Smith. Authorization for entry into other classified facilities on the island must be arranged independently through the respective Points of Contact.
For US personnel requesting to attend the classified plenary:
US personnel who do not already have permanent access to the Nimitz Macarthur Indo-Pacific Command Center (Building 700) are required to pass details of their clearances and submit a visit request to the INDOPACOM security office.
Personnel are to submit only one request for the highest classification that they require. Clearances must be sent no later than 10 Oct 25. Security Officers must include a valid POC including telephone number. The following details are to be used when submitting a visit request:
- SMO code for Secret: 00383
- SMO code for TS Collateral: 000386
- SMO code for TS/SCI: 000383
- Event description field: INFOPAC Symposium

- Please pass a request for 20-24 Oct 2025 at a minimum to prevent errors clearance submission, even if you are only planning to visit Building 700 on 23 & 24 Oct.
For Allied and Partner personnel requesting to attend the classified plenary or meetings at INDOPACOM Headquarters (Camp H M Smith):
A&P personnel must submit a Foreign Visit Request (FVR) as soon as possible, but no later than 19 Sept 25 (in coordination with LNOs) and through your Embassy in Washington DC. FVR details include:
- Knowledgeable USINDOPACOM POC: Maj Blake Horrell. Email: blake.j.horrell.mil@us.navy.mil / Tel: 1-808-477-8026.
- Facility POC: IS2 Rashad Weathersby. Email: rashad.h.weathersby.mil@us.navy.mil
- Location to be visited is HQ USINDOPACOM, BLDG 700, ELROD RD, CAMP SMITH HAWAII
- Once an FVR has been submitted, the individual submitting will receive an UNCLASSIFIED PDF with an FVR number on it. The PDF document will state that the FVR has been queued.
- The PDF document should then be forwarded to rashad.h.weathersby.mil@us.navy.mil cc blake.j.horrell.mil@us.navy.mil
- The USA Coordinator will work with USINDOPACOM to validate the FVR.
- This process will pass only the collateral clearance. SCI clearances must be passed via message traffic to:
- SMO code for TS/SCI: 000383
- PLA: HQ USPACOM//SSO//
Dress Requirements
Uniform of the Day for Service Personnel. For speakers, summer dress is encouraged. Business Casual for civillian attendees.
