This event is a one-day tabletop exposition being held on-site at the SA-09 State Department Building located in Washington, DC. This building houses the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Bureau of Information Resource Management (IRM) departments for the US Department of State. The exposition will be conducted in the Conference area and Lobby on the first floor. Attendees from the CIO office, IRM, and other departments will attend.
Why You Should Participate:
This audience is difficult to reach. The ongoing concept is to provide a forum where State Department personnel can evaluate new technologies as well as company capabilities within an organized exposition. Employees will be encouraged to meet with industry exhibitors throughout the day to learn about their products and services and to exchange ideas.

We recommend using a small handcart to transport your equipment. Security guards will ask you to place your belongings on the x-ray machine and/or ask you to open large boxes or containers. Space is limited in the expo so please travel light! There is no access to the loading dock. You should park your vehicle and then walk to the Front Entrance with your equipment. Pay parking is available at Columbia Plaza (2401 E Street, NW), the Kennedy Center Overflow lots and garages are near GWU/American Red Cross Building. Please park in a pay lot. You will not be escorted outside to feed your meter. FBC is not responsible for lack of parking. If possible we suggest taking a cab to the site. Please arrive early to allow time for parking/walking. If you can carpool then one person can drop off the other with the equipment at the Front entrance and then park. Exhibitors may not ship equipment/boxes ahead of time to the U.S. Department of State.
