Sheila Edmondson is currently a Procurement Technical Assistance Specialist with the District of Columbia Procurement Technical Assistance Center (DC PTAC). Prior to joining the District, she served as a Program Manager for a small sized government contractor.

Her background includes over 10 years of government contracting experience in Management, Marketing/Public Relations, Small Business Operations and Business Development. Previously, she managed federal government information technology, management and consulting contracts for NucoreVision, Inc., an information technology firm focused on enterprise technology solutions, cybersecurity and management and consulting.

Sheila is certified by the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs, Verification Assistance Program, as a Certified Verification Counselor, and serves as the Vice-President of the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children, Prince George's County.
