Jimmy Ly is an MBA graduate of California Student University of San Bernardino, currently
working at Los Alamos National Laboratory after graduating in 2018 with a dual MBA in Cyber
Security and Global Supply Chain Management. He was also selected as a recipient for the
National Science Foundation's CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program. Throughout his
graduate program, Jimmy was a graduate assistant for Dr. Vincent Nestler and helped taught
classes in cyber defense and digital forensics. He was also the president of the Information Club
on his campus, organizing and leading numerous projects and outreach events.
Jimmy has been with Los Alamos National Laboratory for 3 years, with his first 2 years as a
summer student working on continuous monitoring and the assessment and authorization
processes. Currently he supports host continuous monitoring through the customizing and
deployment of Joval, a SCAP scanning tool. Other tasks include RSA Archer support, software
approval, and Tableau.
