Karl Pommer

Karl has over ten years of experience as part of LANL's Cyber Security Technical Staff Most of this centered on performing Attack Tree based risk assessments. Current efforts include Cloud based assessments and developing a NIST 800-30 risk register tool. His career at Los Alamos National Laboratory includes roles as an ISSO, System Administrator and a VoIP project lead. Current active certifications include the CISA, CISSP, CRISC, GCFE, GCFA and the PMP. Past certifications include a Cisco CCNA, CEH, CEPT and CREA. Karl has presented at NLIT twice before. He graduated with an MSEE and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
