Armando Seay Vice President Business Development and Cyber Security for SSI Guardian a leading provider of security training, risk assessments and solutions for corporations, government and the education market.

Armando leads a consultative practice that advises C level executives and Risk Managers in the commercial, government and education space on security related matters pertaining to cyber and physical security measures including active shooter counter measures for schools and universities.

As Vice President, Armando is also responsible for the cyber services, solutions and for developing and researching state of the art cybersecurity technology and partnerships. Armando manages the convergence of safety/security technology and services to craft unique solutions that meet the ever changing threat landscape.

Armando has worked at various organizational levels leveraging two decades of experience in software engineering, program management, cybersecurity, big data, solutions architecture and sales and marketing leadership for commercial and government enterprises.

Armando's experience includes leading diverse projects designed to assess physical and cyber security vulnerabilities for Intelligence community, Department of Defense and Commercial clients.

Armando is a director for the Maryland Institute for Security Innovation (MISI) a not for profit advanced cyber research organization with customers that include the United States Cyber Command DreamPort advanced cyber research contract. Armando helps to foster relationships with the nation's top cyber technology innovators, academia and companies with a focus on technology exchange, education, STEM mentoring, collaboration and advanced research on game changing cyber technologies.

Armando is an advisor and board member for a number of emerging technology companies focused on cyber, augmented reality and data science and on the board of directors for the Greater Baltimore Cares Mentoring Organization.
