Dr. Awuah has deep industry and academic experiences in networking, digital forensics, penetration testing and ethical hacking, security incidence response and risk management, identity and access management, predictive analytics, mobile device security, and cloud security. He has dedicated his career to the advancements in cybersecurity. Dr. Awuah is an Associate Professor in the graduate Cybersecurity Technology program at University of Maryland University College. Additionally, he has implemented and managed network and cybersecurity systems in organizations such as EDS, AOL, HAMA, and Verizon. He earned a doctoral degree in information technology with specialization in information systems and security from Capella University, and a master's degree in computer engineering from George Mason University. His expertise and research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) as it applies to cybersecurity (Pattern Recognition, Anomaly Detection, Predictive Analytics, User Behavior Analytics (UBA)), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain Technology, and Technology Acceptance.
