Tim started his computer security career as a US Army Military Intelligence Officer in 1986 where he was responsible for the computer, information, personnel and physical security of several military units among his other duties over the course of his nine year career. Following military service, Tim worked for a defense contractor for five years where he helped develop and promulgate computer and network security policy for a US intelligence agency and the defense contractors who were providing services to the agency. Tim joined Symantec in 2001 as a Computer Security Consultant then moved into a Sales Engineer role working with government and commercial customers. He currently leads the team of Solution Engineers who inform US Government civilian agencies on how Symantec technologies can support their cybersecurity goals and requirements.
