Ms. Jennifer Kron was selected by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to serve as the Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Intelligence Community (lC) in November 2015. A "plankholder" in ODNI, she joined IC CIO after six years in the Deputy DNI for Intelligence Integration, most recently as Director of the Mission Integration Division (MID). In this role, she advanced the state of intelligence integration by leading enterprise governance to improve the functions of analysis and collection; manage intelligence priorities; expand capability and capacity to conduct assessments; and ensure the voice of mission drives information technology and IC resource decisions.

Ms. Kron served as the National Intelligence Manager (NIM) for South Asia from March 2012 to December 2014. As the NIM, she was responsible for integrating the IC on all analytic and collection issues pertaining to Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India and serving as the senior advisor to the DNI on South Asia issues. She directed interagency campaigns to mitigate key intelligence gaps and set strategic guidance to improve collection and analysis. Ms. Kron had previously served as the Deputy NIM for South Asia and as the Director of Community Affairs for the office.

Before joining the NIM South Asia office, Ms. Kron served as a Group Chief for the IC Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and in the Office of the Associate DNI for System and Resource Analyses (SRA), leading teams of program and budget analysts conducting studies and analysis of cross-agency intelligence issues to shape major resource decisions. Her initial assignment in ODNI in 2006 was as a senior budget analyst for the IC CFO.

Jennifer's previous experience includes eight years as a program examiner in the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB). At OMB, she served in four branches in positions of increasing responsibility, determining the budgets and overseeing the management, policies, and programs of the FBI, the U.S. Coast Guard, and other agencies. She also served as the Chair of the OMB Diversity Council. She began her career in the Federal government as a Presidential Management Intern in the Department of Education and completed a fellowship with the Senate Labor Committee.

Ms. Kron graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Princeton University and holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government. She has completed training assignments to include the Capstone General and Flag Officer Course, Leading the Intelligence Community, IC Senior Leadership Program, Harvard Business School - High Potential Leadership Program, and Harvard Kennedy School - Senior Executives in National and International Security.

Jennifer was promoted to the Senior National Intelligence Service in March 2007. Ms. Kron is married to David Radzanowski, the Chief Financial Officer of NASA. They reside in Washington, DC.
