USINDOPACOM and the Diamond Head Chapter of the Association of Old Crows welcome you to INFOPAC 2025
ABOUT INFOPAC
Since its inception in 2012, the INFOPAC Symposium has focused on the operational needs of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and her component commands. Our main target audience is comprised of information practitioners from the U.S. Joint Force and our allies and partners who operate in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Symposium themes focus on the implementation of National and Theater strategies, as well as emerging operational and warfighting concepts.
SYMPOSIUM THEME
The theme for the 2025 INFOPAC Symposium, “Credible Deterrence” follows guidance from the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF)
issued during his visit to Hawaii in in March of this year to the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies, and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command,
where he articulated the need to continue the strengthening and credibility of our deterrence posture alongside allies and partners in the AOR and beyond.
Deterrence is a priority of the DoD, and this follows on from the work done at INFOPAC in 2022 and 2023, which focused on implementing the previous National
Defense Strategy of “Integrated Deterrence” via operations in the information environment. SECDEF called for “A renewed focus on deterrence”
that would create “advantages for ourselves, our partners and our allies…. while creating dilemmas…for our adversaries. Our mission is to deter war,
but if necessary, we will together defeat and destroy our enemies.”
INFOPAC 25 will examine how Operations in the Information Environment in peacetime will magnify our deterrence efforts against our adversaries. As ADM Paparo mentioned in his opening remarks at INFOPAC 24
“With deterrence as our highest duty, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s #1 Line of Effort is campaigning for integrated and impactful information effects.”
