Ricky Daniels is the Product Lead, Logistics Information Systems (PL LIS) for the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), and leads a highly skilled and diverse workforce of Army Acquisition and Logistics Workforce Department of the Army (DA) civilians and private industry partners. As PL LIS, he is responsible for developing and sustaining key and critical Combat Service Support software applications for the Army. Mr. Daniels oversees the total life-cycle support for software products and services that enhances Army and Joint Warfighting management capabilities to ensure that America's Warfighters continue to own the decisive edge from Battlespace through the sustaining base.

Prior to that appointment, Mr. Daniels served as the Director of the US Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Tactical Logistic Directorate, and Software Engineering Center-Lee from 2008 to 2014.

Mr. Daniels's background includes over 30 years of experience in the definition, design, development, and implementation of information systems, in the areas of logistics and personnel management. He is a results-driven program manager / IT executive with vision and hands-on experience in leading multi-million dollar initiatives with a record of success in managing robust systems, architectures and infrastructures. He has the proven ability to see from the point of view of business people, executives, business partners, customers, and end users and bring the benefits of IT to solve business issues while managing costs, performance, schedule, and risks.

Mr. Daniels was commissioned as an Army 2nd LT, Air Defense Artillery Corps in 1976, at the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. He is a graduate of the Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Basic Course, Infantry Advance Course, Systems Automation Course, Material Acquisition Management Course, Technical Management Course, Command and General Staff College, and the Acquisition Program Manager's Course. His ADA assignments include: 3-71st ADA Nike Hercules, Germany, 5-52d ADA, Fort Stewart; Division Air Defense Officer, 24th ID (M); 4/7th ADA Patriot Battalion, Germany/Desert Storm, and 8-43rd ADA Patriot Battalion Fort Lewis; and I Corps Air Defense Officer, Fort Lewis. His systems management and acquisition assignments include: System Automation Officer and APM Test for the Maneuver Control System; Director Management and Operations, Software Development Center Lee; Deputy Project Manager for Integrated Logistics Systems (ILOGS); Plans and Operations Officer, for Reserve Component Automation System; G-6 DA, Acquisition Staff Officer, Product Manager, Standard Army Retail Supply System and Division Chief for both Technical Support and Military Automated Systems Divisions at the Total Army Personnel Command.

Mr. Daniels has received numerous awards for his achievements, to include the Army Achievement Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Meritorious Service Medal (4OLC), and the Legion of Merit.
