Ms. Watson is the Enterprise Solutions Division (ESD) Director for Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS), PEO EIS. She leads a team that is responsible for providing full life cycle management of suites of Multi-Agency contracts (MACS) for Commercial Off-The-shelf (COTS) Hardware, Software and commercial Information Technology (IT) services with a total contract ceiling exceeding $30 billion dollars. CHESS works diligently with its knowledge management partners including the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G-6, Information Systems Engineering Command (ISEC), Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM)/9th Signal Command and Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) to provide architecturally sound standards-and-policy-compliant IT Enterprise solutions to the Army around the world.

Prior to joining CHESS in 2014, Ms. Watson served as the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program Manager, for the Army Office of Small Business responsible for facilitating, preserving, and strengthening full participation for WOSB in Army acquisition programs. She was also responsible for providing effective outreach, training and technical assistance in order to increase the accessibility of WOSB concerns to Army procurement opportunities. She influenced new policy updates to existing WOSB acquisition regulations and solicited support to the real time needs of the war fighter.

Ms. Watson was born in Huntsville, Alabama, were she started her career over 28 years ago in federal contracting working for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center. After moving to Virginia, Ms. Watson worked for the Communication Electronics Command (CECOM) and the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). She also supported the Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR) as Lead Contracting Officer.

Ms. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Procurement and Logistics, from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) University, Normal, AL. She is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and has achieved Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certification in Contracting and Level II certification in Program Management. She is a recipient of the Superior Civilian Service Award and Contracting Professional of the Year. Throughout her career, she has earned numerous performance and special act awards.
