Join us for the Securing Academic Facilities in Every Community Conference 2019 (SafeCon).
SafeCon is an event series designed to produce awareness, provide education and share insights to prevent future school violence incidents. This year’s SafeCon event will take place at the Hilton Orlando in Orlando, FL on November 19-20, 2019.
The state of Florida recently completed their in-depth review of the Parkland school shooting. The year-long study provides details of the incident, law enforcement response to an active shooting, proposed security enhancements, police and school training, medical response protocols, student mental health and threat assessments.
Audience members will be actively engaged during sessions with these hard lessons learned about preparedness and implementing best security practices to ensure school safety. Sessions will include topics such as crisis communication, social media monitoring, evaluating student threats and behaviors, and much more!
This conference is of great national interest and a very powerful tool to improve school security practices. It is open to law-enforcement, city administrators, school administrators, educators and other associated businesses in this industry.
This event is open to first responders, safety professionals, law enforcement, state and local government officials, teachers, university administrators, parents, students, and those with an interest in securing academic facilities. This conference environment will enable members to come together and discuss important topics that are meant to serve the greater community at large.
