Directions/Parking

The Slavic and East European Languages LEARN will take place at: The Catholic University of America
Pryzbyla Center
620 Michigan Ave., N.E
Washington, DC 20064

Attendees will be able to park at the University Parking Garage, which is located behind the Pryzbyla Center.

Once you enter Garage, head to the very right or left side of the garage to take the elevators up to the 3rd floor level of the Pryzbyla Center.

The best way to get proper directions on Google Maps is to search 3600 John McCormack Dr NE, Washington, DC 20017 (address of Columbus School of Law). Before reaching the destination guests will have to make a left turn to the University Parking Garage.

Metro Access

Take a red line train (direction of Glenmont) to the Brookland-CUA station. Exit to the left when leaving the station which will lead you directly to CUA campus grounds.

Food Options

There are several places for you to grab a coffee or a bite! CUA has a Starbucks located on the third floor of Pryzbyla Center and Convenient Store with Peet's Coffee on the first floor. For lunch, they have a Student Restaurant (however during the academic year you can expect a line by the entrance) and Food Court on the second floor (also gets a little bit busy during the academic year). CUA advises our group to visit Murphy's Grill located on the 1st floor of Pryzbyla. You can read more about this place, operations of hours and see their menu here: www.murphysgrillcua.com. It is a very nice setting and not too crowded with students.

Hotel Information

There is not a hotel room block set up for this event but you can get a special rate at any of the hotels listed in the link below:

In case of inclement weather, the quickest ways to find out if CUA is closed or delayed is to check the CUA website at www.cua.edu or to call the University’s main number — 202-319-5000. The information is available through those two sources by 6 a.m. on days when weather conditions are extremely poor. In addition, the information is posted to the CUA Facebook and Twitter accounts. CUA also contacts all local TV outlets and major radio stations.

If CUA is only delayed, the LEARN workshop will start at the new time. If you have any questions please contact Stephanie Ascher at Stephanie@fbcinc.com.
