U.S. Department of Commerce Virtual Cybersecurity Awareness Symposium

The Department of Commerce (DOC) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is hosting the Cybersecurity Awareness Virtual Symposium 2020 on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9. In alignment with Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Symposium theme is “Do your part. #BeCyberSmart.”

With most personnel working remotely, DOC is navigating a new cybersecurity terrain and facing increased risks, from the elevated potential for human error to locking down a broader footprint. DOC and industry presenters will engage participants with panel discussions, cybersecurity tools trainings, and practical, secure telework techniques.

At DOC we choose to #BeCyberSmart. The 2020 Symposium theme encourages us all to do our part, act responsibly, and remain vigilant.

Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the agenda and speakers, and be sure to check the Exhibitor list to plan your visits to the Expo.
