Melissa has worked in cybersecurity education for 20 years. She started her cybersecurity education career as a research staff at the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) at Purdue University. Since then, she has worked on a variety of national projects in cybersecurity education including INSuRE (Information Security Research Education), C5 (Catalyzing Computing and Cybersecurity in Community Colleges), GenCyber, the National Cybersecurity Curriculum Program, CyberfMRI, and the Cybersecurity Curriculum Framework.
