Dr. Dimitoglou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. Before joining the faculty he spent over a decade in the industry and government working in the areas of information systems, telecommunications, security, data archiving and space science. Dr. Dimitoglou has received several awards from the European Space Agency and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. His research interests span the range from cybersecurity and algorithms to simulations and information assurance in software engineering. Dr. Dimitoglou holds a doctorate in Computer Science from the School of Engineering & Applied Science of The George Washington University. He currently serves as the director of the Center of Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
