Robert C. Smith joined Leidos (formerly SAIC) in 2009 as a Chief Systems Security Engineer with over 20-years of progressive IT experience in data center operations, systems administration, network engineering, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and information assurance. He holds a Master of Science in Information & Telecommunication Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Morgan State University. Robert also received a Graduate Certificate in Information Security Management from The Johns Hopkins University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He has served in a number of government contracting roles since 1996 within the Intelligence, Defense, and Civilian community. Most notably, his clients have included the National Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Executive Office of the President, and U.S. House of Representatives. In addition, he has worked as an adjunct faculty member with Baltimore City Community College for nearly two decades teaching courses in Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity.
