Erik Nelson is Senior Vice President for the Enterprise IT Operating Group. Mr. Nelson is responsible for driving strategic vision and leading account growth within the Enterprise IT market for CACI. He leads a portfolio of complex projects in a variety of technologies, including performance-based service management, defensive cyber security, enterprise managed services, DevSecOps, network and unified communications, desktop support, critical infrastructure protection, data center operations, application development, and mobility and cloud solutions for U.S. Federal Civilian, Defense, and Intelligence customers.

Mr. Nelson joined CACI from CSC, where he was General Manager for Federal Financial Agencies of the Homeland Security & Law Enforcement group in CSC's North American Public Sector. He was responsible for driving strategic vision and leading account growth, task order management, business process improvement, and customer and vendor relationship management providing software development, big data analytics, management consulting, fraud detection and prevention, critical infrastructure design and engineering services, cyber security, and service management.

Prior to CSC, Mr. Nelson worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation, where he progressed through executive positions that included program manager, chief technology officer, and Operating Unit Director of Civil Information Solutions. He has also held leadership positions at Litton PRC, Ellsworth Associates, United States Senate, and United States Department of Army.

Mr. Nelson has had leadership responsibility for a wide range of projects and programs, including agile software development, information management, and systems integration for a wide range of civil enterprise systems, including cyber security, fraud detection and prevention, air traffic management, human capital management, enterprise resource planning, document and records management, regulatory compliance, and information assurance. He has provided innovative solutions to achieve customer mission objectives in such areas as business process management, knowledge management, case management, enterprise infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and portal technologies.

Mr. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in decision sciences from George Mason University and has completed leadership courses at the University Of Virginia Darden School Of Business and the Leadership Institute. He promotes thought leadership and innovation by regularly speaking at premier industry analyst and technology conferences.
