Bringing 25 years of U.S. Army service experience to Iron Bow, James interfaces with Iron Bow's wide-array of Industry partners and the company's DoD team to match emerging technology with DoD gaps to ensure Iron Bow is delivering integrated technology solutions that enable our Department of Defense customers' mission success.
James recently retired from the United States Army at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. His last position was at the Pentagon as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Technical Advisor to the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO/G-6) where he assisted in establishing and directing strategy, policy, guidance, planning and functional proponency for Army worldwide current and future Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) and Information Technology (IT) support during peacetime, crisis, contingencies and war.

His other assignments included: Command Chief Warrant Officer Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM); G3 Technical Advisor, 7th SC(T), Fort Gordon, GA; S3 Plans Network Technician, 106th Signal Brigade, Fort Sam Houston, TX; Battalion Network Management Technician, 40th Signal Battalion, Fort Huachuca, AZ; Division G6 Network Management Technician, 1st Armored Division; and Battalion Network Management Technician, 141st Signal Battalion, 1st Armored Division, Wiesbaden, Germany.

Awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit (2nd Award), Bronze Star Medal (3rd Award), Meritorious Service Medal (4th Award), Army Commendation Medal (4th Award), and Army Achievement Medal (4th Award).

James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College.
