Mr. Peter Travis assumed the charter for Product Director Army Human Resource Systems (AHRS) June 22, 2018, having led the Commanders Risk Reduction Dashboard (CRRD) within AHRS since March 2016. As the CRRD Product Lead, he brought Increment 1 through a Milestone C Decision and Increment 2 through a Milestone B Decision.

Prior to his assignments within PEO EIS, Mr. Travis held various positions at PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S), including Product Director Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Automated Reporting and Collection System (CHARCS).

Mr. Travis has a background in industry, and previously supported the U.S. Army's Rapid Equipping Force (REF) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where he served as an operations officer and project officer responsible for providing quick reaction capabilities to deployed units.

Mr. Travis is a 1992 graduate of the United States Military Academy, where he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, Armor Branch. Following assignments at Fort Hood, Texas, as a tank platoon leader, tank company executive officer, and assistant S3, Pete represented Armor Branch at the Engineer Officer Advanced Course (EOAC). Following EOAC, Mr. Travis was assigned to the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, where he served in 3-4 CAV as the Squadron S4, Headquarters and Headquarters Troop Commander, and Squadron S-3. In June 2000, he resigned his commission for a position in industry.

Mr. Travis has been a member of the U.S. Army's Acquisition Corps since 2014 and earned his DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management in 2015.
