Conference Overview
Track A - IA Policies - Providing the Framework to Secure the Environment.
This track will cover each of the significant Government policies which have been created to secure the information environment for government employees. Track A will also provide a discussion of the upcoming policy decisions in the Information Assurance arena which will affect how government employees interact with each other and the public. Track A will answer the question: What do I need to know to be compliant with these policies and guidelines?
Track B - Government & Industry - Providing Solutions to Aid in Compliance:
This track will demonstrate the many different Government & Industry products and services which are available to help the Government employee in reaching compliance with current and future IA policies. Track B answers the question: What solutions are available to me to help me achieve compliance?
Track C - Awareness, Training, & Education - Providing the Knowledge and Keys for Success:
This track will inform participants about the many programs currently available to Government and other employees which will help them to be aware of and how to counteract threats . Track C will provide knowledge based on experience which when used by trainers and managers will help organizations become compliant with policies and guidance. This will help threats to be recognized and appropriately responded to or avoided in the first place. This Track answers the question: What are the current Awareness, Training, and Educational programs available for my organization in the Information Assurance area?
FIAC Tutorials
FIAC tutorials provide an in-depth discussion of specific topics. Listen to expert speakers who can address IA topics more fully in a three hour tutorial. Tutorials are presented in a classroom style environment by presenters with special expertise. If you are interested in more than an overview of a specific IA topic, the FIAC tutorials offer an educational opportunity to learn further details.
