Fort Detrick takes cybersecurity very seriously.
And it should, since it's a Maryland Army base with a complex of laboratories that defend the nation against biological weapons. This year, it's holding its first-ever IT & Cyber Day at Fort Detrick.
This one-day event features training sessions and exhibits allowing the Army post's varied audience to connect and discuss the IT and cyber issues that are unique to Fort Detrick.
What should exhibitors expect?
Partners with technology relevant to the emerging field of "cyberbiosecurity" should absolutely attend this event. The Army's Medical Device Cyber Team would also be interested in meeting makers of advanced medical technology, as this December 2018 story on the risks and benefits of technology notes.
This IT & Cyber Day offers an exceptional chance to network with an important group of scientific and military cyberpersonnel for the first time.
We hope to see you at Fort Detrick.
