From Boise Airport (BOI):
Please note: Check the weather prior to your departure from Boise Airport.
The drive from Boise Airport to the Sun Valley Resort is approximately 2.5 hours. Please take a minute and refer to google maps, map quest, or your specific navigation site for directions.
If there is no inclement weather (rain):
- Proceed East on I-84 from the Boise Airport.
- Take Hwy 20 East from Mountain Home, ID through Fairfield, Idaho to Hwy 75.
- Take a left on Hwy 75 and proceed North through the towns of Bellevue and Hailey.
- Proceed into the town of Ketchum, ID.
- Take a right on Sun Valley Road.
- Proceed approximately 1.2 miles.
- Take a right on Hospital Road – you will see a sign at the junction of Sun Valley Road and Hospital Road labeled “Sun Valley Inn.”
- Take a right at the first stop sign.
- Proceed to the Sun Valley Inn on your right.
If there is inclement weather (rain):
- Take I-84 East from the Boise Airport past Mountain Home, ID to Bliss, ID.
- Take Hwy 26 East through Gooding, ID to Shoshone, ID.
- Take a right on Hwy 75 and proceed through Shoshone, Bellevue, Hailey and into Ketchum.
- Take a right on Sun Valley Road.
- Proceed approximately 1.2 miles.
- Take a right on Hospital Road – you will see a sign at the junction of Sun Valley Road and Hospital Road labeled “Sun Valley Inn.”
- Take a right at the first stop sign.
- Proceed to the Sun Valley Inn on your right.
From Friedman-Memorial Airport:
Sun Valley is served by Hailey’s Friedman-Memorial Airport (SUN). It is located 14 miles from the resort. Sun Valley Resort offers a complimentary guest resort shuttle from transportation from/to Friedman Memorial Airport and the Sun Valley Resort.
