President and CEO
John Prisco is the President and CEO of QuantumXchange, and brings more than 25 years of experience to the table as a founder and chief executive of high-tech start-ups. Throughout his career, John has played an essential role in helping government agencies and financial organizations identify and resolve threats within their networks; has developed partnerships with leading government integrators to reverse engineer malware providing critical attribution of adversaries; and has worked to assure that implemented technology is compliant and well protected at endpoints.
Prisco founded Penn Access, a competitive local access carrier operating in Pittsburgh. He then served as President and CEO of 2nd Century Communications, the nation's first packet-based CLEC operating in 33 of the largest U.S. metropolitan areas. In 2001, Prisco became CEO of eLink Communications, a provider of telecommunications operating in New York City. In 2003, he served as President and CEO of Ridgeway Systems & Software, a U.K.-based software company specializing in secure firewall traversal, which was acquired by Tandberg Incorporated in 2004. Prisco then served as President and CEO of GeoVantage Inc., a location-based services aerial imaging company sold to John Deere in 2005.
Following his time at GeoVantage, Prisco served as President and CEO of Triumfant for 10 years, which was acquired by Nehemiah Security in 2016. Most recently, Prisco was President and CEO of SPQR Cybersecurity. John holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
