The most convenient airport to fly into is Newark Liberty International Airport. Newark Airport is approximately 60 miles from West Point. Rental cars are available at the airport.

Metro-North has rail service from Grand Central Station in mid-town Manhattan, up the east bank of the Hudson. Trains to Garrison, NY, directly across the river from West Point, take approx 1 hour and 10 minutes and cost a little under $15. If you don’t have a car, get off at Peekskill, one stop south of Garrison, where cabs are often waiting. You may want to call to reserve a Highland Falls or Peekskill cab. Driving time from Garrison or Peekskill to West Point is approximately 20 minutes. Rental cars are not available.
West Point is also accessible by Amtrak. The closest Amtrak train station is Croton-Harmon (CRT) which is approximately 18 miles from West Point . From Penn Station (NYP) in New York City the train to Croton-Harmon, NY (CRT) takes approximately 45 minutes. We do not recommend purchasing a ticket from Baltimore or Washington, DC straight to Croton-Harmon due to long wait times at Penn Station to transfer. You will be given more options if you purchase one ticket to Penn Station in New York City and then another from Penn Station to Croton-Harmon. Go to tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak or call 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245) for reservations. From the train station you can take a cab to West Point. The fare is approximately $45/one way. Rental cars are not available.
Lodging
Participants are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. Details on the hotel room block will be posted when available.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle service will be available from the hotel to the workshop site. More details will be provided. Parking is NOT available on post. Some walking may be required. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
