The Foreign Language Program Office (FLPO) of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the National Cryptologic School (NCS), and the U.S. Air Force Academy are pleased to announce that the Arabic LEARN Conference will be held from September 7 – 9, 2011 at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The primary intent of the LEARN conferences is to provide language instructors working for the U.S. Government an opportunity to share their teaching expertise. In recent years similar conferences have been held in Chinese, Arabic, Persian Farsi, Spanish, Korean, Hindi-Urdu, and in AF/PAK languages. These conferences are an excellent venue for participants to exchange methodologies, technologies and experiences in language and Area Studies teaching, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues from other federal government organizations, the military, and academia.
The Arabic LEARN Conference is open to all Arabic language instructors and course developers from any U.S. Government-affiliated institution.
