Theme: Language and Culture: The Right Level, the Right Mix
The Foreign Language Program Office (FLPO) of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the National Cryptologic School (NCS), and the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) are pleased to announce that the 7th Chinese LEARN Workshop will be held from July 24-27 at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, NY. The primary intent of the LEARN workshops is to provide language instructors working for the U.S. Government an opportunity to share their teaching expertise. In recent years similar workshops have been held in Chinese, Arabic, Persian Farsi, Spanish, Korean, Hindi-Urdu, Russian, and in AF/PAK languages. These workshops are an excellent venue for participants to exchange methodologies, technologies and experiences in language and Area Studies teaching, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues from other federal government organizations, the military, and academia.
The Chinese LEARN Workshop is open to all Chinese language instructors and course developers from any U.S. Government-affiliated institution.
