Language Education and Resource Network (LEARN) for AF-PAK Languages
The Foreign Language Program Office (FLPO) of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence
(ODNI), the National Cryptologic School (NCS), and the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language
Center (DLIFLC) are pleased to announce that the AF-PAK Language Education And Resource Network
(LEARN) Conference will be held on May 17-19, 2010, at the Center for Afghanistan Studies at the
University of Nebraska at Omaha.
The LEARN conferences provide language professionals with an interactive venue where they can
discuss and explore issues related to the science and technology of foreign language education.
The AF-PAK LEARN Conference provides a diverse platform for collaborating on teaching methodologies
and exchanging learning experiences as well as networking with colleagues among Federal Government
organizations and institutes.
The AF-PAK LEARN Conference will cover instruction in Persian/Farsi, Urdu, Punjabi, Dari, Pashto,
Uzbek, and Tajik. It is open to all instructors and course developers in these languages from any
U.S.Government-affiliated institution.
