In recent years similar workshops have been held in Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Persian Farsi, Spanish, Korean, Hindi-Urdu, and in AF/PAK languages. These workshops are an excellent venue for participants to exchange ideas on instructional methodology, technology, and resources in language and Area Studies teaching, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues from other federal government organizations, the military, and academia.

The Middle East/AFPAK LEARN Workshop is open to all Middle Eastern and AFPAK language instructors and course developers from any U.S. Government-affiliated institution.
