"Global Electromagnetic Spectrum Challenges"

The 16th Annual DoD Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Program Review will be held 02 - 06 March 2009 in New Orleans, LA. Sponsored on behalf of the Spectrum Directorate of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration (ASD/NII), the program review provides an information exchange forum for DoD, Federal Government, and Industry E3 engineering and spectrum management professionals to address issues involving E3 and spectrum policy, operational doctrine, EMC standardization, education, emerging technologies, test and evaluation, and other matters relevant to the success of DoD's mission. A host of technical presentations, workshops, exhibitions, and formal training seminars will be provided.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: The registration fee is $375.00. Online registration is encouraged and can be completed here before noon on 27 February 2009.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: The program review will be held at the Marriott New Orleans Convention Center. The hotel room rate is $140.00 per night plus applicable taxes. INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN ARMS (ITAR) RESTRICTED SESSION: Unclassified ITAR restricted briefings will be presented on-site Thursday morning, March 05, 2009. Proof of U.S. citizenship is required for participation. Acceptable documentation includes visit requests sent to DISA/JSC (see below), a valid passport, or birth certificate.
